Youth Economic Opportunities

The majority of our ingredients are sourced from young suppliers in Senegal. A percentage of proceeds in the future will be used to invest in more youth employment opportunities in Senegal.

Value-Added Agriculture

Wurus takes raw materials from Senegal and other African countries and transforms them into a final skincare and/or haircare product. This transformation, which happens mostly in Senegal, disrupts traditional economic exchanges that have historically underdeveloped African markets.

Natural Skincare

Our co-founder first started making her own body butters and lotions because it was hard finding skincare products in Senegal that did not have skin lightening agents. Wurus encourages everyone to love their natural skin and our products work with and not against our natural skin.
